Tivoli moves in

Tivoli Systems, an IBM subsidiary, is sending over a "technology ambassador" to India to develop the market here.

The company has already shortlisted three channel partners for its enterprise systems management software, TME 10. Tivoli is focussing on financial institutions, telecom firms and large manufacturers to buy this software.

It is also locating distributors for its new product, the Tivoli IT Director,

aimed at the small and middle segment and particularly at Indian software houses.

Currently, Tivoli has nine employees in India who works together with Tata-IBM.
