Hewlett-Packard company has announced its Verifone Division, a global provider of e-commerce solutions, is poised to take advantage of emerging opportunities in the point-of-sale and Internet-based commerce markets as economic growth returns to Asia.
''HP's Verifone Division is well-positioned to take advantage of the improving business climate in Asia,'' said Stanley Lee, market director for Verifone's Asia-Pacific region.
Atul Saran, country manager, India and SAARC countries said, ''Verifone has been actively investing in the development of a new generation of payment solutions. The Repayment 2000 solution encompasses our next wave of the Omni 2000 terminal platform, seamlessly integrating with our Veritalk Terminal Management System to form the essential components of the Integrated Payment System and E-Services solutions. The E-Payment 2000 platform offers our customers the ability to reduce total cost of ownership in relation to their payment-processing needs and gives them the flexibility to support multiple international and domestic applications'' he added.
