Datapro to open training centre in Dhaka

Email this story to a friend. Datapro Infoworld Limited, the computer training company, has announced the signing of its first international computer training centre in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The computer training centre is in partnership with the Crown Group of Companies, headquartered in Dhaka. Crown has business interests in the US, UAE and in India, an official statement said.

Satish Dhanorkar, general manager, business development, DIL, who was in Dhaka on the occasion, said, ''Datapro is pleased to announce the signing of its computer training centre deal in Dhaka. With this centre, the Dhaka market can now look forward to quality computer education at affordable prices.''

Datapro plans to spread its presence overseas in a big way and is in advanced stages of negotiations with prospective partners in Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.

It plans to start training centres in these countries before the new millennium.

Datapro is also exploring the possibility of expanding its network in the South East Asian countries.

On the deal signing for its first international centre, Rajeev Arora, chairman and managing director, DIL, said ''Datapro is a leading brand in computer training in India and with its experience and expertise, Datapro has the potential to become a global player, I'm sure of our success in Bangladesh''.
