IT&T ties up with MicrosoftIT&T Limited, a leading information technology solutions and services company in India, has tied up with Microsoft Corporation through its Microsoft consulting services division for a joint strategic initiative: the Partnership Development Plan.IT&T Limited is one of three organisations chosen in India by Microsoft for this PDP, a company statement said.
The business areas to be covered under this initiative are MS Exchange, NT, SMS/Proxy/IIS and intranet development and workflows. Microsoft consulting services along with other Microsoft professionals plans to develop IT&T as an organisation and certified as 'MS Ready'. IT&T is focussing on infrastructure software, mail and messaging services, workflow design and implementation of Microsoft BackOffice products. It will be signing a non-disclosure agreement with Microsoft as this is a very transparent and open alliance wherein IT&T will have access to major Microsoft resources and plans and initiatives, the statement said. IT&T has been rated first among 10 others in computer maintenance and support in a ComputerWorld survey of July 1998. The survey was conducted among 1,000 CEOs, CIOs, IT and EDP managers and other management professionals in the country. Spread with eight branches and over 40 locations across India, the company's clientele includes Coca-Cola, Siemens, DSP Merrill Lynch, UNICEF, Dabur, Reckit and Colman, British Council Division, Ranbaxy and Ericsson, the statement said.
