Mphasis enters joint venture in US

The company will design and develop interactive interfaces for Web and Internet based applications.

Mphasis will pick up a majority stake in the joint venture. The rest will be held by Evit, the leading new media design firm in the US.

Based in Santa Monica, California, the joint venture company will have a dedicated offshore development centre in Bombay with outstanding minds in technology and creativity.

Currently, there is a team of programmers working on the project in Bombay.

This number will increase significantly when the development centre moves to Pune shortly.
