A tie-up with Delhi based Majestic Software Limited for a training programme on electronic business solutions has been announced. Majestic Software will offer the e-business solutions training programmes in Bombay and New Delhi. The company also has a development centre in the NOIDA export export processing zone. Of the 80 tie-ups signed by IBM, 40 ATPs have been made operational, Khurana said. He said e-business solutions would become an integral element of all software development work in the next couple years. It is already a key element in "About 80 per cent of the software development work," Khurana said. According to an IDC report, e-business in India is expected to reach $160 million by 2001, which in turn would trigger the growth of software exports in the country. On the global scale, the e-business solutions market has grown at a staggering pace in the last few years. UNI |
