AirTel extends 'Smart Roam' service to KuwaitCellular service AirTel became the first cellular operator in Delhi to extend its 'Smart Roam' - international services, to Kuwait on Friday. With this, Airtel marks its entry into the Middle East to serve Indian businesspeople frequenting these destinations. AirTel plans to spread itself in the region and provide seamless coverage. AirTel services in Kuwait will be available through their tie-up with MTC, the only service provider in that country. Earlier this year, AirTel had also launched their Smart Roam service to Thailand.
