Sunicom cuts deals with US, Japan firms for India market

Sunicom Technologies has signed several agreements with US and Japanese companies to represent them and distribute their products in India, according to a company release.

The product offerings will include PC-based components and peripherals such as microprocessors from Cyrix Corporation, hard disk drives, printers and scanners from Fujitsu Inc, motherboards and 3-D accelerators from Micronics Computers Inc, computers, modems, voice mail, speakerphone and fax from Zoom Telephonics Inc, Internet PCs for TV sets and cordless keyboards.

It will also include CD-ROM drives and monitors from Tatung, high-end motherboards from Tyan Computer Inc and video conferencing systems from C-Phone Corp.

Sunicom, through its direct sales offices and distributors, will distribute these products to Indian original equipment manufacturers, value added resellers and system integrators.

Sunicom Technologies is represented in India by N S N Counto, chairman, Goa; V N Kabadi, managing director, Delhi; Prasad Deshpande, Bangalore and Nitin Dhepe, Hyderabad.

Its US office is represented by Suneil Pavse, director, Boston.
