Injured fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been virtually ruled out of the second One-Day International against England in Indore on Monday, while a final call on whether Yuvraj Singh can play will be taken before the match.
"Ishant is virtually out of the match as if he doesn't play here it would give him between 5-7 days to recover [from his ankle sprain]," India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said on Sunday.
Ishant had also missed the opening one-dayer after failing to recover from his ankle injury.
About the chances of Yuvraj, who had demolished the England attack with a blazing unbeaten knock of 138 braving a bad back in the first ODI at Rajkot on Friday, Dhoni said his condition had improved a lot.
"There's considerable improvement in Yuvraj's condition. But we will take a final call on him before the match," he said.
