Orissa cabinet expandedOrissa Chief Minister J B Patnaik on Monday expanded his 40-month-old ministry with the induction of senior tribal leader Mohan Nag into the cabinet. This is the fourth expansion of the Congress ministry since it took office in March 1995. It strength has now gone up to 29. Governor Dr C Rangarajan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Nag at a simple function in Raj Bhawan. Later, Nag was given independent charge of the food and civil supplies portfolio. The chief minister also effected a reshuffle in his cabinet, taking the finance portfolio from Deputy Chief Minister Basant Kumar Biswal and keeping it with himself. UNI
