Krishan Goswami's American Yatra

Acharya Mridul Krishan Goswami leads the 108th Shrimad Bhagwat Sapath at the Valley Hindu Temple from October 3 to 9. This will be one of the nearly dozen appearances he is making in north and central America, now through October 23. He is visiting from his native Vrindavan, where he is the head and chief Kirtankar of the Banke Bihari Mandir.

Krishan Goswami follows the musical lineage of the 15th century musician Swami Haridas (guru of the famed Tansen) and Baiju Bawra in Emperor Akbar's court.

Program at the Valley Temple: 10 am to 11 am, Kalash and Shoba Yatra, 11 am to 1 pm, Bhagwat Katha (start); the Katha is continued 7 pm to 9 pm, from October 4 to 8. On October 9 from 7 pm to 10 pm, vishram followed by aarti and mahaprasad.

The events are organized in co-operation with the Shri Banke Biharilal Seva Mandal.
