Tamil Doctors ConventionThe Association of Tamil Nadu Medical Graduates, USA, will hold its annual gala and CME convention, August 13 to 15 at the Hyatt Regency. The events will start with a reception on August 13 evening, followed by CME the next day, and live entertainment in the evening. Sight-seeing is slated for August 15. Residential Course in Vedic StudiesThe disciples of Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Saylorsburg, offer a two and a half month residential course at the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam's Institute of Vedanta and Sanskrit. The course will take place from October 4 to December 19. The texts to be studied include Tattwa Bodha, Upadesa Saram, Bhagavad Gita (Chapters 2 and 13). Also offered are courses in Sanskrit, Vedic chanting and yoga. The cost of the course is $ 500 per month and $ 100 registration fee. 10th Indiafest Dates SetThe India Association of Long Island will hold the 10th edition of Indiafest on September 18, 3 pm to 9 pm and on September 19, noon to 6 pm. The festival will take place at the Nassau Community College. Events include cultural programs, entertainment for children and food festival. More Dates Announced For Mega Millennium Live '99The Mega Milennium Live '99 show featuring Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Aishwarya Rai, Twinkle Khanna and Rani Mukherjee, which is scheduled for September 4 in New York is going to a dozen cities in North America.
