Manipur has it hotHeat wave conditions prevailed in parts of east Rajasthan. Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, in the plains of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, north central Maharashtra and in parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Kutch, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka. They were above normal in Tripura and in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, south Madhya Pradesh, south central Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Telengana, Rayalaseema and in the remaining parts of east Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and in parts of Orissa, Punjab and Gujarat. They were appreciably below normal in parts of south coastal Andhra Pradesh and were below normal in Sikkim. They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where the data was sparse. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in parts of north central Maharashtra, and were below normal in parts of Bihar plains and interior Karnataka. They were appreciably above normal in Manipur, Gangetic West Bengal, west Rajasthan, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, interior Tamil Nadu and in parts of Haryana, Punjab and southeast Rajasthan. They were above normal in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, northeast Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, coastal Tamil Nadu and in the remaining parts of Haryana and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya. They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse. Rain or snow occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Very light rain/snow also occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Very light rain/thundershowers occurred at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country. Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, west Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Orissa, in the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.
