Orissa heat wave toll touches 41The toll in the current heat wave in Orissa has risen to 41 with two more deaths reported from Dhenkanal district. According to reports reaching Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal district has topped the toll list with 12 deaths, followed by Khurda (five). Anugul, Keonjhar, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Boudh districts reported two deaths each while Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Bhadrakh, Kendrapara, Nayagarha and Mayurbhanja districts one each. Though the day temperature in coastal Orissa has now limped back to normal, western parts of the state continue to report a temperature of four to five degrees Celsius above normal. UNI
