For Manoj 'Night' Shyamalan, it's thumbs-down at OscarsManoj 'Night' Shyamalan, director of the box-office hit Sixth Sense and the lone Indian hope at the Academy Awards ceremony, did not finally make it. At the glittering awards ceremony telecast live across the globe, American Beauty walked away with five Oscars, including best picture, and actor (Kevin Spacey).
