Two persons were killed and about 20 injured in three separate grenade attacks by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Friday.
One civilian was killed and five people, including two women, were injured in one explosion. Grenades lobbed by Kashmiri militants, however, failed to hit a vehicle carrying paramilitary personnel at the Narbal crossing in Badgam district, about 13 km from Srinagar.
In another incident, Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel engaged militants in Dooru village in north Kashmir's Anantnag district on Friday morning. One militant, who is yet to be identified, was killed in the skirmish.
A dozen Kashmiris were also wounded when militants hurled a grenade at a former comrade, who is now working with the security forces, inside a shop in the town of Bandipora.
Three civilians were injured when militants lobbed a grenade at security personnel deployed near a shrine in village Pakharpora in Pulwama district.
