One more person was arrested on Monday by the Delhi police in connection with the murder of the Indian Express principal correspondent Shivani Bhatnagar.
Vijay Sharma, son-in-law of Sri Bhagwan, who has already been arrested, was picked up from Gurgaon early on Monday morning, police sources said.
Vijay was arrested on charges of providing a mobile phone to Sri Bhagwan, which was allegedly used in conversation between him and the senior Indian Police Service officer Ravi Kant Sharma in connection with the murder on January 23, 1999.
The police also questioned K L Sharma, brother of Sri Bhagwan, to ascertain the whereabouts of Satya Prakash, his distant relative.
Sri Bhagwan and Pradeep Sharma, who are now in custody, have allegedly confessed to the crime.
Meanwhile, Surat Singh, lawyer of Sri Bhagwan, alleged that police was 'harassing' his client in custody and 'intimidating' him to become approver in the case.
