The police seized 326 grams of brown sugar worth over Rs 3.2 million in Cuttack district of Orissa, District Superintendent of Police M Akhaya said.
They raided two houses in Paikasahi and Khan Nagar on Wednesday evening after a tip-off about the contraband being stored there.
Two persons have been arrested in this connection.
