India to attend SAARC summit in Pak

India will attend the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation at Islamabad in January next year, Foreign Secretary Kanwal Sibal said on Thursday.

The SAARC cannot hold a summit unless all the seven leaders are present.

"The standing committee has reached a consensus to hold the summit from January 4 to 6,"' Sibal said after a meeting of the SAARC foreign secretaries meet in Kathmandu.
