Minimum qualification: HSC (XII Std) Commerce or its equivalent for admission to F Y B Com.
M A (two-year post-graduate degree course)
With study material -- Sociology, History and Marathi.
Without study material -- Hindi, Economics, Politics, Philosophy and Languages (English, Sanskrit, Urdu, etc).
Minimum qualification: Graduate in any faculty of a statutory university.
M A/M Sc (math) (two-year post-graduate degree course without study material)
Minimum qualification: B A/B Sc with minimum two papers in math from the University of Mumbai or at least three papers in math from any other university.
M Com (two year post-graduate degree course)
Minimum qualification: B Com from the University of Mumbai or its equivalent.
Two-year, post-graduate diploma courses in management
PG diploma in financial management
PG diploma in operations research for management
Minimum qualification: Graduate in any faculty with two years work experience in any organisation or must have a recognised professional qualification with at least five years professional experience. Defence persons who are not degree holders can also apply.

Admission kits
The admission kits, including prospectus and admission forms, are available on payment of Rs 50 in cash for the B A and B Com courses, Rs 100 for M A, M Com and M Sc (Maths) -- year I and II -- courses and Rs 200 for PGDFM and PGDORM -- year I and II -- courses from 11 am to 2.30 pm (except 1 pm to 1.30 pm) on all working days
For requesting the application by post, please write to 'The Director' at the above address mentioning your full name, which class and subjects you are applying for, complete address with pin code, telephone numbers, etc, and enclose a demand draft of the prescribed amount for the respective course payable on any scheduled bank in Mumbai and drawn in favour of 'Institute of Distance Education, University of Mumbai.'
Important notes
There is no rule of doing T Y B A / T Y B Com 'directly' in one year.
The institute does not have any agents. We have not permitted any private coaching classes/ 'college' to give admission to any of our courses.
