The All Parties Hurriyat Conference led by Moulvi Abbas Ansari on Saturday decided to hold the second round of talks with Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani on March 27.

The Hurriyat executive met at the residence of Moulvi Umar Farooq, former chairman of the separatist conglomerate. The meeting was presided over by chairman Moulvi Abbas Ansari.

"The Hurriyat has decided to hold second round of talks in Delhi," a statement issued in Srinagar said.

The executive discussed in detail the invitations received from the Indian government for the second round of talks and also an invitation received from Pakistan High Commission to attend the function in connection with Pak Day on March 23.

"The executive also decided to send a high level delegation to attend the function on March 23 in Pak High Commission in New Delhi," the statement said.

The first round was held in New Delhi on February 22. The second round, however, appeared unlikely at one time as senior Hurriyat leaders alleged human rights violations by security forces in Kashmir.
