One girl lost her life and 3 of her classmates were injured after they jumped off a speeding vehicle in which they were being abducted.
Police said the girls had hired a jeep in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday to their college but the driver drove past their destination despite their repeated request to stop.
It was then that the girls jumped off the vehicle one after the other in panic, police added.
While one of the girls died on the spot, 3 were admitted to the hospital with severe injuries. A case has been filed against the driver who is still at large.
