Jammu and Kashmir Realistic Front on Tuesday threatened to defy authorities if permission for its "goodwill mission" to Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir is not granted.

The JKRF claims to be the architect of the Srinagar- Muzaffarabad bus service.

Front chairman Hilal Ahmad War said in Srinagar that on April 7, his "party will proceed on its own coach without caring for the consequences".

He said such bona fide travel is the inherent right of every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir.

War said he had duly approached the authorities for a travel permit.

He said he got the impression that JKRF would not be given permission because it would expose the false claim of J&K Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that the People's Democratic Party ensured the introduction of the bus service.

On the reported plan to send leaders of different parties to Muzaffarabad on the first bus, War said Sayeed and Farooq Abdullah had "no right to travel on the bus".
