Communist Party of India general secretary A B Bardhan Monday criticised the Indian government for "hastily welcoming" Nepal King Gyanendra's suggestion to transfer all executive powers to a government constituted by an alliance of seven parties.
"The government has welcomed it without going into the details", he told reporters in Thiruchirappalli.
Stating that the CPI stood solidly behind Nepal's SPA, he asked, "What right did the King had to contain the Maoists?"
He also criticised the King's order to disconnect the mobile services in the country saying "it was unfair".
