J&K: 8 injured in grenade attacks

Six Border Security Force jawans and two civilians were injured when militants hurled two grenades on a security force picket in Sopore area of Baramulla district on Saturday.

Militants hurled the grenade on the BSF picket located at the State Bank of India, Sopore at 4.45 pm, official sources said.

Five BSF jawans were injured in the attack.

Militants had earlier in the day hurled a grenade on the same picket in which two civilians and a BSF jawan were injured, the sources said.
