Sahil Zaroo, the Kashmiri youth alleged to have supplied drugs at Rahul Mahajan's party, was brought back to Srinagar on Friday by a team of Delhi police officials for carrying out searches. The Srinagar police also assisted them in the case.

The teams have seized Zaroo's clothes but could not find his mobile phone.

Official sources said searches were conducted at the residences of Sahil and his maternal uncle, Mohammad Yousuf Kawoosa. While Sahil's shirt was seized from his residence, a trouser was recovered from his uncle's house.

Police had been looking for the clothes which Sahil was wearing on the night he was at late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's official residence at 7, Safdarjung Road in New Delhi, along with Rahul Mahajan and the late Vivek Maitra, who was Pramod Mahajan's aide.

Zaroo has been booked by the Delhi police under the prevention of narcotics and psychotropic drugs act. He is alleged to have supplied the drug packet that was consumed at Rahul Mahajan's party, which led to Maitra's death and Rahul's serious illness.
