After Saturday's bomb explosion which damaged the court hall in Hubli, the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, hearing the cases of terror suspects of banned Students  Islamic Movement of India, on Monday held its sitting in a different hall as two teams of investigators began the probe into the blast.

Judicial Magistrate Srinivas, who conducted the proceedings from a first floor hall, extended the judicial custody of all the 12 terror suspects, who are said to be activists of SIMI and Lashkar-e-Toiba, till June 4.

The blast, involving an improvised explosive device, rocked the ground floor court hall on Saturday, but there were no casualties as it was a holiday.

Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissioner Narayan Nadamani told reporters that two teams of experts from Forensic Science Laboratory  and National Security Guards had commenced the probe into the blast. "Besides, the two teams, we have also constituted our own team to probe into the incident," Nadamani added

The terror suspects whose remand was extended are: Adnan, Shibli, Mohammad Asif, Asadulla Abubakker, Shakeel Mali, Allah Baksh, Yahya Kammukutti, Sameer, Syed Sadiq, Mohammad Ghouse, Riyazuddin Nasir and Mirza Ahmed Baig.

However, only Adnan and Shibli were produced before the court by the Corps Of Detectives, probing the terror network in the state, while the remaining ten, who were to be brought from Hindalaga jail in Belgaum, were not produced due to security reasons.

The court also allowed a plea by CoD Deputy Superintendent S S Khot seeking permssion to subject Adnan and Shibli to narco analysis between May 20 and 24. The two will be handed over to judicial custody after the narco test.
