April 24, 2009 02:34 IST

On the eve of Congress President Sonia Gandhi's visit to the state, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi asked her to do her "home work" and come prepared with answers to issues of price-rise, unemployment and women's reservation bill.

"I have heard that Sonia is coming here tomorrow. I want her to come prepared and do her home work. We have already given the questions that she would be asked here, in advance," Modi said addressing election rallies in different parts of the state.

Sonia Gandhi is visiting here tomorrow will address three poll rallies in the state.

"We have to give her (Sonia) the questions in advance because she has to read it out with her speech which is in written form," he said, adding "Come with answers to why the prices of essential commodities have gone up, why have so many people lost jobs during your regime, and what have you done about the women's reservation bill."

He also asked her to stay back in Gujarat for a week and visit various places in the state in a car.

"You can go to anywhere in state in any car you want. See how good our roads are. Even the water in your stomach won't move," Modi said.

"Then compare the roads with your constituency Rai Bareli or Amethi. I am sure people there won't know what good roads are," he added.

Modi asked the Congress to give account of how the government utilised the Rs 2.5 lakh crore tax that they got from Gujarat.

The Gujarat chief minister also took a dig at the three union minister from the state in the UPA government and alleged that they have failed to provide employment to youth of the state.

"One is a Railway Minister (Naran Rathwa), Lalu's (Yadav) assistant, other is the petroleum minister (Dinsha Patel) and last one is the textile minister (Shankarsinh Waghela). All three have not given employment to any body from the state," Modi said.

He asked the gathering to answer what do they score on a scale of one to hundred for providing employment to the people of the state.

Modi also mocked the Congress saying that it was agitated after his "SRP (Sonia, Rahul, Priyanka) is chasing me" comment.

"Congress was agitated with my SRP comment so they called in an emergency meeting of their think tanks and came out with a antidote to SRP comment. They came out with MAR - Modi, Advani and Rajnath," he said.
