Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Arun Jaitley, who had briefly stayed away from the party's exercise to choose Lok Sabha candidates, conceded on Saturday that he had differences with party chief Rajnath Singh on certain political issues.
"There are no personal disputes or issues at all. Whatever political issues arise, it is our convention that senior office-bearers do discuss them in party forums and resolve them", Jaitley told media persons in Bengaluru.
He said it was "not proper for anyone of us to commen" on the issue to the media. The BJP general secretary had for two days stayed away from a meeting chaired by Rajnath Singh protesting the appointment of businessman Sudhanshu Mittal as co-convenor of northeastern states.
