All Congress members of the Union Cabinet were present as the party released its manifesto at a colourful function in New Delhi on Tuesday.

On the dais were the party's Big Three -- President Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

When party General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was asked by rediff.com what was the highlight of the manifesto, the young leader said he liked all points in it. On being pressed, he said, "The Right to Education promise is what appeals to me."

Former minister Jairam Ramesh, who was one of the architects of manifesto, said, "The provision that minimum wages will be Rs 100 per day is the most important. It has the potential for major social change."
