Neither the Congress party nor the DMK will lose anything with PMK's exit from the UPA fold and the loss would be entirely that of PMK, union minister of state for textiles E V K S Elangovan said in Erode on Friday.

"The Congress party had already predicted that PMK would join the AIADMK," he told reporters.

Elangovan criticised health minister Anbumani Ramadoss and minister of state R Velu for still remaining in the UPA cabinet and said they should have tendered their resignations immediately after their party joined the AIADMK front.

Asked about the prospects of the newly formed Third Front in the coming Lok Sabha polls, he shot back saying that it would be "zero" and that they would suffer great losses.

Expressing confidence that the UPA would form the next government at the centre, he said Congress president Sonia Gandhi and AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi would campaign in some election meetings in Tamil Nadu.

Asked about the constituency from which he would contest, Elangovan said he had not decided about it as yet.
