The Praja Rajyam party continued to face the wrath of its workers on the issue of ticket distribution on Sunday, when some angry workers set the PRP office in Kalwakurthy in Mahbubnagar on fire. PRP leader T J Prakash was attacked also attacked in Anantapur but he managed to escape.

Earlier, party offices in Adilabad and Warangal were attacked and effigies of party president Chiranjeevi and his brother Pavan Kalyan were burnt in Karimnagar.

In Mahbubnagar, the followers of J Prabhakar Rao attacked the party office and set it on fire, after their leader was denied a ticket from Kalwakurthy constituency.

The PRP workers in Warangal district are angry over the allocation of party ticket to E Prabhakar Rao, brother of senior party leader E Dayakar Rao.

The distribution of party tickets has infuriated several party workers, who feel that newcomers have given prominence while people working in Chiranjeevi's fan associations have been ignored.

"Where would Chiranjeevi be without his fans and their associations," said an angry supporter.
