UP withdraws NSA against Varun

Complying with the Supreme Court directive, the Mayawati [ Images ] government in Uttar Pradesh [ Images ] today revoked National Security Act against BJP leader Varun Gandhi [ Images ] for allegedly delivering hate speeches in Pilibhit [ Images ].
"Following the Supreme Court order, the state government has revoked NSA against Varun Gandhi", a senior government official said.
Varun was arrested under NSA on March 29.
