Laloo Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal is headed for a debacle in Bihar, and the RJD leader is trailing in one constituency, Saran, and leading in another, Patliputra.
According to an associate at his home, Yadav is watching television with his family and not expected to venture out till the final results are out.
He has no plans of making a trip to Saran where he is locked in a keen contest with the Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
Meanwhile, Shatrughan Sinha is following the trends in his ancestral home in Patna. His wife Poonam, sons and daughter are with him. He will visit the state BJP office later this afternoon, though there are no plans for a victory rally if he were to win.
"These things are thought of if the margin of win is over five lakhs, let's see," says a campaign associate.
Shatrughan Sinha is pitted against fellow Patna native and Mumbai resident, television star Shekhar Suman, who has done some tough campaigning in his native town.
