Humpy splits point in 6th round, still in leadJunior world champion Koneru Humpy drew with Paprnisa of Yugoslavia in the sixth round but was still leading the table with five points in the Third Saturday GM Chess tournament being played at Belgrade in Yugoslavia.Taking no risks, the two players agreed for an early draw in 37 moves and the 14-year old will now take on Nestorovic Dejin of Yugoslavia in the seventh round. As per the revised calculations, Humpy has to get two points from the next three games to get her second GM norm. Humpy missed the GM norm at Budapest during the First Saturday GM Chess tournament as she could garner only 7.5 points in 11 rounds while the required score was 8.5. She, however won the title by finishing ahead of others. Humpy, who is the only second Indian woman Grand Master after S Vijayalaxmi, now has a fair chance to get the remaining two points from the next three games. Humpy has so far drawn the second and sixth games while winning the remaining four to lead the pack of 12 players with five points.
