A compact disc (CD) capturing the rare moments of East Bengal's historic Asean Cup win in Jakarta has hit the stands in Kolkata.
The 45-minute CD tells the entire story of East Bengal's Asean conquest starting from the pre-tournament tune up at a five-star hotel in Kolkata up to the tumultuous reception given to the team on its return to the NSC Bose International Airport with the trophy.
The CD contains highlights of all the matches played by the red and gold outfit at the Jakarta tournament, the practice sessions there, coach Subhas Bhowmicks's press conferences before the final and immediately after emerging champions, making it an archival treasure trove.
Brought out by a private television company 'Dus Miniter Khel' in association with Three Cheers Entertainment, the CD also includes several lighter moments during the grueling Jakarta sojourn.
Soccer buffs will definitely enjoy skipper Suley Musah's rendition of the popular Bollywood hit song Kuch kuch hota hai at a party in Jakarta and the East Bengal players' joy trip to Singapore on their way back from the Indonesian capital, a company spokesman said.
