Paula Radcliffe has entered her name for the Olympic 10,000 metres, a British team spokeswoman said on Thursday.

However, the marathon world record holder has yet to make a final decision on whether to take part in Friday's race. Radcliffe pulled out of Sunday's marathon in tears after 36 kms.

"We have confirmed her entry before the 9:00 a.m. (1130 IST) deadline," the spokeswoman said. "But basically it's up to her to decide whether to compete between now and the race."

The women's 10,000 metres starts at 0020 IST on Saturday.
