The Hyderabadi lass, who was recuperating from a lower back injury during her season break after the second round of the Thailand Open WTA event at Bangkok in October, returned to the courts on Sunday to play a celebrity mixed doubles match alongside tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi against 1996 Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek and his sister Michaela.
She will leave for Australia later this week to train under elite coach Tony Roche.
