Pau Gasol scored 20 points and added 10 rebounds to help lift the Memphis Grizzlies to a 85-73 home win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association play on Monday.

The Grizzlies (5-3) beat the Lakers for the fourth straight time after sweeping the season series last year, handing the Lakers their third straight loss.

Eddie Jones added 16 points for the Grizzlies and Mike Miller chipped in with 13.

However, Miller had to be helped off the court with less than two minutes left after banging his knee on the floor after a scramble for the ball.

Shane Battier had 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who out-rebounded the Lakers 50-45. Lorenzen Wright hauled down 12 rebounds for Memphis.

The Grizzlies used an early second period run to eventually take a 42-33 lead at the half against the Lakers, who shot just 32.5 percent from the field. That lead would grow to 26 points after three quarters.

Kobe Bryant, who was held to just 17 points in a loss to Philadelphia on Friday, had just 18 points on 7-for-18 shooting against the Grizzlies.

Chris Mihm added 11 points and had 10 rebounds for the Lakers, but no other Los Angeles player made it into double-figures in scoring, with a 26-12 advantage in the fourth quarter making the final score more respectable.

Los Angeles (3-4) was out-scored 31-14 and out-rebounded 17-5 during the third quarter, allowing the Grizzlies to take their big lead.

In Salt Lake City, Jamal Crawford scored 20 points as the New York Knicks beat the Utah Jazz 73-62.

Quentin Richardson scored 12 points for the Knicks, who have won two straight games after opening the season with five straight losses under new coach Larry Brown.

Deron Williams scored 18 points and Mehmet Okur scored 12 points for the Jazz.

In Oakland, James Richardson scored 32 points as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Chicago Bulls 100-82.

Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy both had 15 points for the Warriors, who improved to 5-3 after leading 49-36 at the half and by 19 points after three quarters.

Andres Nocioni led Chicago (3-3) with 17 points. Jannero Pargo scored 12 points and Luol Deng added 11 points for the Bulls.
