Jung's march continued unabated as he took his fourth gold medal, with a commanding performance, topping the qualification and the final rounds in the men's 50m Air Pistol individual. He shot 554 out of 600 in qualifiers and then added a 96.2 in the final take the gold medal.

Narang got off to a great start with four rounds of perfect scores and then built on for a total of 597 in the qualifiers that set the tone for him in the Men's 10m Air Rifle. He then added a further 101.9 in the final, to take the gold by a comfortable tow-point margin.

It was Gagan Narang's third gold of the Games, following his gold medal in men's 10m Air Pistol Pairs and 50m Rifle 3-position. His total of 698.9 was a new Games record and his 597 in qualification was also a new record.
