India's Jyoti Randhawa produced a decisive eagle on the 16th hole to retain the Indian Open Asian Tour golf title by three shots in New Delhi on Sunday, his third overall win.

The 35-year-old overnight joint leader with Thailand's Chapchai Nirat saw a three-shot lead shrink to one after Chang Tse-peng of Taiwan shot a fluent four-under 68 two groups ahead.

However, the European Tour regular's second shot on the 16th fairway bounced 10 feet away from the pin and rolled in, giving him the three-shot leeway to all but seal the issue.

Randhawa carded three-under 69 for a score of 13-under 275, giving him his seventh Asian Tour title, and the first in 2007.

Chang, 37, finished second while India's Rahil Gangjee reeled off a six-under 66 to climb to third a further two strokes away.

Chapchai, the 24-year-old who led on all three days, slipped to tied fifth after a four-over 76 on the final day.
