Ace drag-flicker Sandeep Singh's whereabouts are not known and the player has not yet reported for the ongoing camp for the Olympic qualifiers, chief coach of Indian hockey team Joaquim Carvalho said.
"I do not know his whereabouts and I have not been informed by the federation about his absence," Carvalho said.
After his good showing at the recently-concluded Premier Hockey League in Chandigarh, Sandeep was included in the probables' list for the camp, which started at the SAI Centre in Bangalore on January 10.
However, Sandeep said he is suffering from high fever and was advised rest.
"I am down with fever. I am feeling very weak. My doctor has advised me to take rest," Sandeep said from his home in Sahabad.
The penalty-corner specialist said he is yet to inform Carvalho about his unavailability.
