The Iran radio on Thursday reported that three more journalists were killed in Afghanistan, bringing to 10 the total number of journalists killed in the war-torn country in just over a week.
"Three more foreign journalists were killed on Wednesday afternoon on the road from Jalalabad to Kabul," the radio said.
"A number of officials from the Northern Alliance have confirmed the report, but the nationality of the reporters is not yet clear, and neither is the identity of the killers," it said.
It said the latest incident had brought to 10 the total number of journalists killed in Afghanistan during the ongoing conflict.
