The Washington Times, quoting defence officials, on Wednesday said that the United States intelligence agents had identified 23 terrorist training camps in Afghanistan for military action.
The report quoted officials as saying that a small number of aircraft, tanks and anti-aircraft missile sites belonging to the Taleban had also been identified for action.
The camps were reportedly located in northeast Afghanistan, as well as in the east and the south, near the capital Kabul and the cities of Jalalabad and Khost.
