United States chairman of the joint chiefs of staff General Richard Myers said that the bombings against the Taleban regime in Afghanistan had been reduced on Friday -- a holy day for Muslims around the world.
"Military operations continue, but we are not doing any pre-planned operations, as Friday is the Muslim holy day," Myers said.
"But we do have forces available to hit any emerging targets. So we are continually updating our plans," he added.
