The widow of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl has given birth to a boy in Paris.
The baby, Adam D Pearl, and Mariane Pearl "are doing fine", said Ashley McCowan, the family's spokesman, said.
Pearl had disappeared four months ago in Karachi while researching a story on Pakistani fundamentalists.
A videotape confirming Pearl's death was delivered to US officials in Karachi on February 21.
