![]() ![]() Komal Nahta Some stray thoughts and facts: More than a year after Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai became a blockbuster, Rakesh Roshan is struggling for a script for his next film. Although he has mentally decided on a story idea, it all depends on how the screenplay turns out.
The song was choreographed by Farah Khan, with lead dancers, Hrithik and Kareena. The duo seems to have buried all their differences of Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai. Either they believe in the policy of 'forgive and forget' or they both are great actors. Either way, it's good for the industry.
Shah Rukh Khan is keen to release his Asoka (yes, that's the way it's spelt) on May 22, 2001. "I've told my people to keep everything ready for a release on that day," quipped the actor. The market is waiting for the release of Mukta Arts' Rahul. The finance market, that is. Although Mukta Arts has made a clean profit on the Prakash Jha film, the investors are still keenly awaiting the box-office fate of the emotional drama of a child and his estranged parents.
Boney Kapoor started the shooting of his Hindi remake of the Telugu hit, Anthapuram, in a village near Jodhpur (in Rajasthan), ten days back without any fanfare. After much thought about whom to cast in the role of Karisma's mother-in-law, what with a choice like Hema Malini, Rekha, Rati Agnihotri and Jaya Pradha, Boney finally signed in Dipti Naval. The father-in-law is played by Nana Patekar. Old flames rekindled?
Aditya Chopra and wife Payal are on a long, long honeymoon -- perhaps, as long as Adi's Mohabbatein! To be precise, the couple will be back after two whole months!
Aishwarya Rai has a wonderful sense of humour. In a recent interview, she admitted that Salman Khan did bang on her door but the reason she gave for it was hilarious! It seems she had dozed off after a tired day and had switched off her cell phone. Salman, 'being a good friend', got worried when she didn't reply to the door bell and, therefore, 'knocked' on the door. Switching off the mobile phone is alright, but what about her land line telephone? A look at the week **Ratings based on box office collections and cost of the film**
