Careless whispers
John and Bipasha romance on the sets of Aitbaar

Flashing lights, blaring music and a bunch of skimpily dressed teenagers grooving.
Amidst the smoke and glitter, one spots a pensive Bipasha Basu. Clad in a revealing red outfit that accentuates her curves, Bipasha stares point blank at John Abraham, who looks smashing in a black leather jacket.
Standing against the bar, John whispers into Bipasha's ears. Going by the look on her face, we get the impression that it is nothing pleasant.
"Cut!" yells director Vikram Bhatt. He seems mighty pleased with Bipasha's work.
We are on the sets of Bhatt's new film, Aitbaar at the NSE grounds, Goregaon, northwest Mumbai. Produced by Jatin Kumar, veteran actor/producer (Khel, Champion, Daraar) Sujit Kumar's son, the Aitbaar cast includes Amitabh Bachchan.
Models-turned-actors Bipasha and John play lovers while Bachchan plays the former's father. Not bogged down by Bhatt's recent debacle, Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, debutante producer Jatin Kumar coos, "Vikram Bhatt is an amazing director. I love his nature, his attitude. He is so relaxed -- with him things move so smoothly."
Bhatt takes some time off to tell us about the film. "We are shooting a song sequence. It is the second meeting between Bipasha and John. They are at a discotheque. She is wary, but he has a hypnotic effect on her. She is absolutely entranced by him."
Bipasha, who has developed quite a rapport with her Raaz director Bhatt, says, "Aitbaar is all about trust --- trusting your parents, your lover. I play a woman torn between her father and her boyfriend. It is a volatile love story. I have not yet shot with Amitabh Bachchan. I am so nervous. I am sure I will faint when we do the shoot. It is a big thing for me to work opposite Amitabh Bachchan," she says excitedly.
The unit break up for lunch, and John graciously lets us know between bites, "I play Aryan, a sedate character with some shades of grey."
Aitbaar is scheduled for a December release.
