India's first live animation film Bhagmati -- The Queen of Fortunes which is now complete and ready for release, is making news at the ongoing Cannes International Film Festival.
The stall put up by E-City, which is marketing the film internationally, received overwhelming response and created a lot of curiosity
among the international delegates attending the festival. "The marketing strategy and publicity has been well received. The film, India's first attempt at feature film animation combined with live action featuring Hindi cinema actors Tabu, Hema Malini and Milind Soman, will be released internationally soon," said E-City head Atul Goel in Cannes.
India's Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sushma Swaraj visited the stall Thursday. She complimented director Ashok Kaul for his effort to help put Indian films on the international scene.
