Australia opener Adam Gilchrist started the innings positively, scoring a quickfire 83 off just 79 balls, with eight boundaries.

His wicket, bagged by Zaheer Khan when the score read 132 in the 25th over, trigerred a collapse as Australia slumped to 141 for 4.

Gilchrist has now scored 5569 runs in 172 ODIs at an average of 34.80 and an amazing strike rate of 91.89, with eight centuries and 34 half-centuries.
